(Ductless systems up 18,100BTU are available with commercial ceiling-mount evaporators; pricing is slightly lower. These evaporators are not attractive and are very loud; not appropriate for residential wine cellars, and not for most restaurant cellars either.)
Outdoor Condenser Option: any qualified installer can make provisions for protecting a condenser mounted outdoors (temperature extremes, rain/snow, direct sunlight). This option includes internal safety controls factory-installed and a sturdy louvered housing; saves installers a significant amount of time.

Climate Control Options: we offer the only truly integrated climate control options on the market. “Integrated” means all components run by the same controller, creating a level of precision and balance that simple humidification and/or heating options cannot provide.
Johnson Controls (ducted systems only): humidification, heating (standard duct heater), or both together. Optional pre-wired Control Panel available; provides the various Johnson modules pre-wired and ready for installation; saves electrical and refrigeration people a lot of time; highly recommended.
WineSmart™ System Controller (any system): the first and only controller on the market to allow the fully integrated use of a humidifier and/or heater with a ductless or ducted split system. Humidification; Internet module available (requires website subscription). The WineSmart™ can also be used with customer-supplied 24 vac humidifier and/or heater.
The WineSmart™ is also available built into the ductless evaporator (4,000, 5,700, 7,600, and 10,200 systems). Installs with a little less wiring. Uses SLMA series evaporators; slightly larger than SL series; total system pricing slightly lower. |
